I can't join this league because Nashville ruined their franchise. You never trade Shea Weber. Never. Just look at what I did to the Habs lol. Well, you didn't pick up Kadri in some way, so that's something new... |

Maybe if there's another reboot in a league and Nashville is available, I'll go back into the sport. I do miss it in a way, but there's only a few teams I can really handle, because I have a completely different mentality than the rest of the GM's (which is when I say a guy isn't moving, it means he's actually not moving). |

Same with me. But this time I never said nobody isn't moving because my goal was to make a team that I liked for the 1st month (Kadri-Kessel-JVR on the top line, Subban on D and Price in net) then after that I would make a full out rebuild and have a dream team of prospects (Jack Eichel, Sam Reinhart, Sam Bennett, Max Domi). The only player J couldn't get that I wanted was McDavid but I can't blame Kruze for that. My goal was to get McDavid and Eichel and then get the 1st and have a 1st line of Matthews-McDavid-Eichel but now the goal is to have a top line of Matthews-Eichel-Reinhart. |

My problem with the site is that I expected JM to sim like 12 seasons a year, but it's looking more like 2 seasons a year. I probably should have held off to see how fast a 30 year old would end up retiring, but I'm still relatively happy with the youth I have on the team. Sucks to trade Weber, but again, I expected that he would have been retired in 6 real-life months based on EANHL lol
And also I used polastem, because there is a stigma that anything related to ManNHL on anything connected to JM is somehow cancer... despite the fact that practically everything they are doing on that site was actually created by me and Justin (aka ManNHL) including their entire draft process, PR, and waiver formula (guys under a certain contract are auto-demoted) lol we've literally created it all and done it all for sim sites, but hey, we're assholes who don't know anything, and JM is a God.

So why hasn't Nashville won a cup? Disregard my last post. I overreacted. It's partially difficult to trade players like Fisher and Ribiero, because nobody really wants them for much. That's one of the flaws of the leagues, because young players are way too overvalued compared to the older, elite talents. |

Especially with the real long offseason, and the simming pattern most of the time only being around 3-4 day sims. This usually results in maybe 2-3 seasons being simmed in a year. |
