FiD?

I've left Fighters in Danger alone for quite a while now. This was always something I planned to boot back up. WHat is your feedback for the downtime? There are fighters getting neglected, and piling up pretty beefy losing streaks.

I think with the consistent weekly pay-out, FiD fighters are far easier for teams to keep in check than ever before. Previously, low-posting teams were at a disadvantage. Now, it's a level playing field, and I think FiD is more fair now then ever.

I keep getting stuck with this conundrum though.

On one hand...
- FiD works. There is no question about it.
- FiD makes people keep an eye on their fighters and consider carefully what they want to do with them to keep them competitive.
- There is and was much more diverse upgrading and less power-upgrading.

On the other hand...
- FiD still benefits the teams that posted more - they developed their teams more, and have more fighters that can coast
- FiD encourages hoarding, as people get paranoid and want points to keep people off FiD should they get there.
- Right now, I'm trying to balance some numbers. If FiD comes back into play, the balance is in a constant state of threat and flux.


You don't have to agree or disagree with any of the above points. Just anything you feel about FiD as it relates to you or, better yet, the league as a whole, is appreciated.

id prefer no fid as 2 points a week is barely enough to float a low level fighter also the fighterss are built to shitty like i maxed out felices punches n kicks she still losing every fucking fight.. but meh..whatever..

That's another option; modifying the FiD thing to go back to the whole putting points into them resets their FiD status type thing. With the level playing field of even salary, it might make sense and work well.

I'm good with whatever, but the reset thing needs to be there because of the 8 points per month, plus prediction, element. I mean, worst case scenario, we try it and if it immediately starts turning a mole hill into a mountain, then we fix or destroy it and bury it.

is this going to be implemented sooon i feel if it is it could fix the point hoarding problem n the lack of woman upgrading and make it strict 4 woman like 3 loses your in fid or something..

YEs, I plan on updating FiD after I process the most-recent results. Perhaps today, but we;ll see. Have important people visiting this weekend so I have to clean and polish the house.
