Davis was trying to soften Murphy up for some submissions...and then Lauren randomly lost consciousness. In a fight she was winning before that. Interesting. I look forward to seeing these two go again, ideally without quick flash finishes. Rather see a legit submission or KO, but hey, it ain’t Davis’ fault Murphy just kinda died now is it? But good for Davis. I kinda like her. Ohhh Canadaaaaaaaa

How was Murphy winning that at any point? The stats are virtually dead even and Alexis was dominant for most of it, including a takedown. I mean, save for the one reversal, Murphy didn't have much control of this fight.

Possibly... I think more what Sandman was talking about was the damage meter. Murphy does hit hard for sure.

Yeah, I re-read the fight and it said she was hitting pretty hard from guard, and that Murphy also forced a stand-up early, so it's possible that until Davis managed to get some shots in, Murphy was holding her own and defending well on the ground, doing more damage, thus negating the lay and pray of Davis for the first half.

Yeah, I was mostly shrugging about them, not towards you. Usually they know what they are talking about, as you get a really clear feel of the fight from them. But sometimes, these anomalies happen where someone is dominating by bars, but does almost nothing. I think those are mostly the lay and prayers.
