Gina Carano defends the Women’s title!
This fight started scary because Zoila hit Carano with something HARD at the very beginning of the fight and for the rest of the fight, Gina was NOT recovering well at all. Her stamina was mediocre at best, whereas Zoila had stamina for days. If this fight went 8-9 rounds, it would have benefitted Zoila for sure. But yeah, after that, Carano again had to fight her way back into the fight and did exactly that. She began the gradual destruction of Zoila, little by little, until ultimately finishing the fight. Easier said than done, though, as Zoila’s recovery was great. Overall, a good fight, with some good scares for Gina fans, and some high highs for Zoila fans. Both fighters win fans.
