Just been tinkering with some of the simulatable modes on this bad boy, and holy hell - if NHL games had this level of GM/Franchise management, customization, and micromanagement, I would probably never leave my house. Like...ever.
Setting merchandize prices, the ability to have a hardcore GM mode vs. a casual one, team relocation, historic teams/legends...2K just knows how to get it done, I tell ya.

I tried doing a career GM mode where I just simmed with EA but it takes about 30-45 seconds to sim per day, even days you're not playing. That's just a bloated game imo with literally no fucking details.

Team Relocation has to be the toughest of the bunch, but understandably so. It took me around 5-6 seasons to get Memphis back to Vancouver, since the fan interest was high, but money would be low (even if it's right smack dab in the middle of Vancouver). Once we got there, though, we lost money quick. Had to build an immediate dynasty just to break even.
Fans complained that I sold tickets at $20. Fuck Vancouver, man.
