It's been a while, but we've learned that here at Mighty Ducks central, we needed to embrace the spirit of MMA and improve our system moving forward. As such, we have hired the following coaches to aid in the development of our fighters:
Mickey Gall
Mickey will be teaching our BJJ classes at the Ducks Dojo effective immediately.
Bio:
After going 3-0 an amateur, Gall made his professional debut for the Dead Serious MMA promotion in November 2015. He faced fellow debutant Ron Templeton and won via submission in the first round. Gall's bout was featured on the Dana White's Lookin' for a Fight reality show, which earned him a UFC contract.
Ultimate Fighting Championship[edit]
Gall made his promotional debut on February 6, 2016 at UFC Fight Night 82, where he faced fellow newcomer Mike Jackson in what was billed as the "CM Punk Sweepstakes." Gall won the fight by submission just 45 seconds into the first round.
Gall was initially expected to face Punk at UFC 199, but the pairing was delayed after Punk suffered a herniated disc. The fight eventually took place on September 10, 2016 at UFC 203. Gall won the fight via submission in the first round. During his post-fight interview, Gall called out Sage Northcutt.

Bio:
At UFC 181, on December 6, 2014, Punk announced that he had signed a multi-fight contract with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).[275][276] When asked if he would compete under his ring name or birth name, he told the Las Vegas Sun, "I've come this far with CM Punk. That's what people know. I'm trying to stick with that. I'm not shying away from it. I'm not ashamed of it."[277] His UFC profile lists him as CM Punk.[273]
In January 2015, Punk began training under Duke Roufus at Roufusport MMA Academy.[278][279] In June 2015, he moved to Milwaukee to be closer to the Roufusport gym, while still retaining his home in Chicago.[280] Later, it was announced that Punk would compete in the welterweight division.[281] In October 2015, Roufus announced that Punk had suffered a shoulder injury, delaying his UFC debut until the next calendar year.[282] On February 6, 2016, it was announced that Punk would face Mickey Gall in his first professional mixed martial arts (MMA) contest. Days later, he was diagnosed with a herniated disc, and underwent surgery.[283]
Punk's UFC and MMA debut against Gall took place on September 10, 2016, at UFC 203.[284] The event was held at the Quicken Loans Arena, the same venue where Punk left WWE and retired from professional wrestling.[285] He lost via rear naked choke at 2:14 of the first round.[286][287] He was paid a disclosed $500,000.
