On a serious note.... does anyone have any advice on asking a girl to a dance? All serious advice helps.

Honestly, if there's anything I've learned, just be confident and ask, and if she says no, don't make a big deal out of it. If you keep things light and chill, she'll feel less pressure/obligation to say one way or another.
The biggest thing people tend to forget is that you are absolutely allowed to have feelings for someone or like someone or find them attractive, but they are allowed to feel the exact opposite, and if they say no, don't pine after them. You'll waste so much of your life hoping someone is going to like you when there are so many other people out there that do like you... spend your time chasing and building friendships/relationships with those people instead.
It's a common complaint amongst everybody as they get older that they wasted so many tears and emotional turmoil hoping someone would be attracted to them. Don't fall into that.
Just walk up to her, ask her if she's interested in going with you, and then either celebrate to yourself that she said yes, or move on with your life.
You also are not obligated any time for recovery over someone that might not like you in that way. If a girl you like says no, and there's another girl you like, just go ask her anyways. You don't owe the first girl anything.

Justin is usually better at advice than I am. I typically go to him for advice, but he calls me a cunt lol

Oh, I already asked him for advice lol You invited me into a conversation when I was watching a live debate that I could not pause. Then when I muted it to give you my full attention, you fucking left the conversation (presumably to NOT let your dog out , so I talked to Nicole ABOUT your issue). THEN, when you came back, you kept talking to me about other stuff. So I tuned you out and watched the live, unpausable debate. THEN when THAT ended...you left for the night. Basically...I gave you no advice other than "No note."

But listen to them cause I didn't and I'm regretting it. It took me a long time to follow my own advice, and when I finally did, I asked out a girl I was in a project with Justin, and she basically cut all ties. In retrospect, it was funny, and it didn't hurt my feelings whatsoever, because it was ridiculous. I also very, imo, comically asked her out, and it probably played a big factor in it, but it literally doesn't bother me at all.

One thing: don't tell anyone you're going to ask her before you do. Teenagers are assholes, they will spread it through the school and run up to her and ask her if you've asked her yet.... It's like grade 3, but with taller kids who drink more on weekends.
Obviously we are safe to tell on here- we are internet people and therefore not real.
