Cap only matters if you upgrade well. Also...Brown was ranked, and higher than Faber, so clearly calling it a mismatch is either an ignorance or omission to logic.

No, not really... the capped fighters usually beat the uncapped ones, in general.

That's because the majority of capped fighters were capped by people who know how to upgrade well.
Plus, as I said, Brown was ranked higher than Faber, so this was his fight to win. Clearly he earned that spot, but was unfortunately unable to maintain it. It happens.

Any chance to take a shot at me eh man? And then you wonder why I'm always taking shots at you. Brown may have been ranked, but there was no real way he was going to beat Faber here unless is was a flash or Faber just didn't show up. You know that as well as anyone. I'd just rather pick Brown over Faber cuz I like Brown more.

I'd say strongly dislike. To me, in that debate, Faber is, more or less, all talk. Is he a good fighter? Sure, but the guy doesn't back up his statements all the time, especially when it comes to Cruz. Cruz is just a vastly superior and smarter fighter than Faber will ever be. Had he not had his knee injuries, I'm fairly certain Cruz would've been champion all this time as well. He's just that good. Folks don't like that he's a defensive fighter and doesn't get hit a lot... Well, if you're not getting damaged in the fight, that means if your cardio's up, chances are you're going to be a lot fresher than your opponent in later rounds. Cruz has shown that over and over again, whereas Faber's lost fights that he probably should have won, if he were actually a smarter fighter.

Demetrious Johnson shifted his style to be like that as well. I would be interested in seeing Cruz-Johnson again now to see who has come farther.

Dom still wins that. He's too smart for most everyone in the division. lol It sucks, to a point, but it's true.

I think if DJ and Cruz were the same size, DJ would take the decision. I think in real life though, DJ is a little too small, and since Cruz would have the reach advantage, he would be able to get shots in at DJ when DJ could not reach him, this giving him a decision. DJ is a different fighter than when they fought before and there is a reason he is sitting atop a lot of Pound for Pound lists right now.
