In light of Dana White claiming Brock's willing to fight again in the UFC... let's take a look at this. lol

I hope lesnar does fight again... but he has to fight at 100% not like his overeem fight.

He never will. 1% of his body was removed. A painful 1%.

Yeah, and he relies on speed and agility (ironic, when you look at him). These are 2 of the first things to go with age. He would not be the same monster at all. He would sell PPVs, but I don't even think he would be a top 10 UFC HEvyweight fighter anymore. Also of note, he was champion at a time when the division was a bit shallow. Couture never should have been fighting at HW, and Carwin was good fun - really liked the guy, but when he is your interim champ and a #1 contender, things are shallow. Now is a different story. Werdum, JDS, Cain, Browne, even Hunt. With even the slightest drop in speed, cardio and agility, Brock is a sitting duck, bound and gagged, on murderers row.

ooooooooooo hunt vs brock might be an interesting fight. When i said a 100% i meant that when he fought overeem .. all overeem had to do was punch knee and kick lesnar in the belly and it was done. If he can take shots to his belly then he may be ready to return. I still think he has what it takes to fight. i think he has what it takes to win. does he have enough to go for the belt? I don't know. But it would be fun to watch.

Yeah. He can fight, he can definitely draw PPV numbers, but he will be the Bob Sapp of the UFC at this point.

I completely disagree as these were many of the same arguments many had when Brock came in the first time. Brock's always been a freak of nature, and if he's 100% healthy, there's no reason to think that he couldn't stand in there with any of those guys you listed; thing is that most of those guys were around when Brock was champion too. The other factor is that, like Couture, Brock started pro MMA later in life, so his body hasn't taken the beating that most other fighters have as well... and despite what you think that Couture shouldn't have been fighting at HW, it doesn't matter... the fact remains that he did and he became champion at 43 yrs old and defended it, not to mention that at 34 he beat a 19 yr old Vitor Belfort. So there's no real reason to think that Brock won't be able to comeback and be just as effective at age 37. It's almost laughable to think that he wouldn't.

brock just will never be the same. at most, he'd be a gatekeeper to the top 10. always on the outside and never back to dominance. he was being destroyed and was retired by a KNEE by a guy that has lost many fights since in Overeem. he sucks

No one but Dana and Brock thought he'd even be dominant in the first place, yet he came in and did it anyways, so, you're entitled to your opinion, but I think that you couldn't be more wrong.

Brock started pro MMA later in life, so his body hasn't taken the beating that most other fighters have as well... That's not accurate. Pro wrestlers probably get more damaging injuries than MMA fighters. and despite what you think that Couture shouldn't have been fighting at HW, it doesn't matter... the fact remains that he did and he became champion at 43 yrs old and defended it, Aghain furthers my point about how light the HW division was at the time. In fact, Randy Couture himself stated that the reason he came back was because he KNEW he could beat Tim Sylvia and take the HW belt. And he did just that. The other thing about Couture is he fights a completely different style than Brock - one that allows him to fight well into his old age. He was a technical grinder. Brock, as I said, is a wrestler dependant on speed, agility, timing, and strength. Again, these go fast with age, as does chin. YOu can have guys in their 40s who still have KO power - that sticks around, but the HW division moved on. If Brock comes back, he gets given a gimme fight that he should win, then he gets shredded by the entire top 10. (Save, perhaps, Josh Barnett, who seems to have a glass chin now, and Antonio Silva, who I think is a tad overrated.) Cause, let's face it, Brock already has a loss to the 11th ranked fighter in the HW division. What's to believe he is coming back now, years later with no MMA training or fights, and be better?

We'll see when/if this happens... I completely disagree with you. Who says he hasn't been training in MMA while he's been away from UFC? I highly doubt that a high level athlete such as Lesnar would even be considering a comeback if he hadn't been training for most of this time in conjunction with his wrestling duties, which are slim considering his WWE contract is part-time and he's barely wrestled at all, even as WWE Champion. It's completely ridiculous of you to even suggest that he hasn't been training at all. lol
