Okay, so this re-affirms what Phoenix was saying earlier in another thread (that I have done a poor job of making this info public and a Mass-PM outlining free agents and the opening of free agency was necessary.
After discussing this issue with The Texas Rattlesnakes, and conceding that I have botched this entire "free agent freeze" up beyond pretty much all repair at this point, we have come up with the following solution to this clusterfuckery.
1) All claimed free agents (Romero, Sherk, Kampmann) will be unclaimed and sent back to free agency.
2) The currently-posted roster-freeze will remain in effect.
3) Any and all free agents and NXT fighters will be eligible for the draft at seasons end.
"But Justin, this solution fucked me over!"
Yes, me too. I had plans for Romero and was happy to have him. But since I cannot think of a fair way to re-introduce the free agents without it being a first come, first serve situation, this is the fairest thing to do. (i.e. If I open it randomly again, like I did before, it is unfair for me to claim Romero immediately, and I do not have the time with our ManMMA schedule to wait 2 weeks to claim him as I did before., etc).
"But Justin, what does this solve?"
Literally everything. xx - Camp Cannon is appeased because I do not get Romero. xx - Former Phoenix Fight Club gets his notification/warning about upcoming available fighters, xx - The King's Poison gets a shot at guys he did not know were free agents, etc, etc. It's fair all around.
