CHAPTER 2 EVENTS:
The corpse-creature blocks the way to the castle, attacking anyone that dares try to leave. Oliver trows the keys to Tim and uses driftwood to move about, but he is still a shell of a man with barely much momentum and one wonders how long he'll survive with such poor life decisions.
Milkmire tries to reach the documents inside the jacket lining of the creature, but is slapped to hell and back for his efforts. Bixby is picked up and sits on the arm of the monster, but it takes a while for him to regain his equilibrium and figure out who he is and what he's doing up there and how he can help. At one point he tries to just flat out walk off the creature, but that fails. The creature doesn't harm him because he revived it.
Jif creates a diversion by being Jif. Milkmire uses this diversion as an opportunity to steal from the monster some documents, a drawn picture of an arrangement of figurines, and a ball of hair of some sort. Milkmire throws all of it away except for his documents. Oliver scrambles behind him and pockets the hair, because that is what he does. Oliver, just always there, always trying to jump all over everything everyone else does. It's probably for the best because when he does his own things, he tends to break himself, but thankfully, for now, he has his stick.
Oliver loses his stick.
Tim swims out to the ship and dives down to a light underneath. As with all adventurers, the first thing he thinks to do is kill it. He attempts to stab at it and learns it is an eye. A spirit interrupts and prevents the attack. Tim learns there are red and green muscle tissue, and the red is the evil side of things that is connected to the corpse-creature.
Oliver cuts his hand, but bites through his mouth for blood to sign Milkmire's documents. This is the Oliver way of life. Milkmire pulls him away from danger using Albert as a rope. It happened exactly the way that it sounds.
Jif stops being a distraction and gathers enough courage to turn around and attack the corpse-creature. He is completely and utterly mullered. He returns to running around in fear.
Bixby has finally figured out his purpose in life and cuts half the arm off the corpse-creature. In retaliation, Bixby is tossed from the creature, and he floats about as gracefully as a cannonball before landing head first into a cannonball. After first determining his body did not clone itself in mid air, he determines he has vision only out of one eye due to swelling and begins to self-heal.
After the monster was injured, Jif's enhanced hearing is affected by the corpse-monster's scream. It screamed so loud that Jif was like totally hurt by it and shit. Like super loud.
Albert has been given documents of a sketch of figurines from Oliver, and sees it is important, but likely not useful for now. Perhaps something later will happen where the sketch is important, perhaps not. Perhaps everyone just keeps trying to leave the beach instead of dealing with the problem at hand and effectively trying to ruin the damn story!
Carl calls for animal help, and fish surround Tim, blocking him from trying to attack the glowing green eye and green muscle tissue of the ship. This is the second time Tim is blocked from harming the green aspect of the ship. Carl gets all pissy because he thought a bear would come out and eat the monster or something, but instead his skill was used for good and he's too slow to realize it.
Oliver retrives one of Tim's gauntlet blades. This could go either way based on Oliver's history in attempting to do literally anything at all.
Bixby recovers a portion of his vision and head wound. Oliver throws the blade, which severs a board from the corpse-creature's arm. It only has one board arm left. This is a good thing. Oliver did good this time.
Albert distracts the corpse-creature and Oliver tries to get out of harms way, but Milkmire yells and draws attention from the corpse-creature back to Oliver. Oliver is back to not looking so great.
Carl tries to attack and takes a plank nail to the leg for his good effort. He is hanging in the air. Tim attacks the monster, it drops Carl and tries to retaliate, but Tim manages to back away enough to avoid any strike.
Jif is attacked by a seagull, and then he finds the gauntlet Oliver previously threw. He picks it up, throws it and accidentally kills the seagull. Jif is ashamed of himself, and backs away and into Milkmire. Milkmire convinces Jif to sign his documents, but they require a writing utensil. Foiled.
Tim is hit by the corpse-creature, but with the help of Bixby, they trip the monster over and jump on top of it. Oliver grabs a hold as well to try and pin it down.
Milkmire spends a good amount of time talking and thinking about how awesome it would be to be the hero everyone deserved, as the others struggle to stay alive and keep the beast at bay.
Milkmire walks over to the corpse-creature. He stands over its head and says "I choose not to defend my honor at this point."
He then turns around and winks at Bixby, and then winks at Tim, and then winks at Oliver, and then winks at Jif and then winks at Albert, and then winks at the ship, and then winks at the dead seagull, and then winks at the sky, and then winks at the castle, and then winks at Carl, and then winks at Milkmire, and then turns back around and stomps on the corpse-creature's head repeatedly. He stomps once and then twice and the three times and then again, and then more, and then so much that the creature stops moving and then even more that the others let go of the creature and then continues stomping until the head has been turned into mush, and then stomps to the point where the head has disappeared and all that he is stomping is the wet, clumping sand, and then he winks at the monster's corpse.
Milkmire walks over to where the others have gathered to watch him unleash his carnage of stompamania.
Milkmire: "I miss the old days of rapscallions and Jack the Ripper," he says before continuing onto a path toward the castle.
The crew carry on down a path toward the castle.

GAME NOTES/RULES:
The game is constantly evolving and things that can sway the story away from the guidance of the DM can be put here for deterrence to ruin the game, not to ruin your enjoyment.
This game will be more visual than what we've played in the past. Locations you visit will be accompanied by an image of the room you are in. This room can then be explored appropriately, but can also be referred back to for decision making purposes and assist in the imagination of your character's response.
As the game unfolds, anything stated by the DM (me) is gospel, canon, concrete. It cannot be altered. This is the foundation of the story you will play. Anything within the confines of this foundation is fair game. Example: If I say "the door is locked" you cannot state "no it isn't." But the method of attack the obstacle of a locked door is within your power and imagination.
Will also mention that just because your character has an ability does not guarantee it will work every time or work to the length you hope it will. So always write "attempt" when performing an action.
You can join the game at any point. We'll just consider you still unconscious from the shipwreck, so when you arrive you follow footsteps from the shores up to where our heroes are currently located.
Trolling or any attempt of ruining the game will be ignored, destroyed or countered by the DM. Example: you decide to just kill your friends, well, you're murdered by a falling piece of lumber that flew up into the air after the ship wreck and just happened to come down when you were being a dick.
TAGGING THE DM
From now on, there is no Temporal Rewind. The story will remain linear.
When you wish to perform an action, anything that could affect the environment or another character or the plot must be written as an attempt:
Ex: Wayne Gretzky attempts to shoot the puck at the net.
This format will allow the DM to react to the attempt, either making it successful or not, or allows other characters to become involved in the act.
Once an action is taken, please tag @ michealaldred the DM and write DM, so that I can ensure I do not accidentally skip your action request.
