Ok we talked funny, now let's talk frightening as I doubt you guys will chat with me re: movie that made you cry the hardest.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Halloween The Exorcist
Are some of my faves... or is it most hated? I dunno, all I know is I can't handle it when teenagers are unbearably stupid (in particular the girls) and when demons come to play.
Something about my religious upbringing leaves a secret belief in demons or something, because I think I almost broke my bf's arm watching the exorcist. Childbirth was considerably less scary.
So... what go your panties in a knot?

I have never cried because I was so scared..... but I really liked the Devil Inside, and Paranormal Activity and such. Mainly because they were creepy.

I would totally talk about movies that made me cry. There are several.
In terms of the stuff that creeps me out the easiest, those "found footage" types of movies like Paranormal Activity are very effective.
Movies that Creeped me Out (and perhaps still does): - Paranormal Activity (first one only, the rest were dumb - but I still watch them annually - like I did the Saw movies) - The Blair Witch Project - The Shining ("Come play with us Danny") - Fire in the Sky (when I first saw it as a kid) - Night of the Living Dead (not scared, but uncomfortable and bothered by all the damned zombie hands constantly coming at you. Wonderfully done claustrophobic feeling there!) - The Grudge and The Ring - both creeped me out, though I didn't necessarily love either movie. The Japanese originals are better, but you get scared more without subtitles, as you are watching the screen more intently) - The Silence of the Lambs - tho I don't consider it a "scary movie" - it still creeps me out and i love that flick
"Scary Movies" that I Love that don't creep me out: - Friday the 13th series (classic, not new) - A Nightmare on Elm Street (classic, not new) - Halloween (new moreso than the classic - I know, eh?) - The Devil's Rejects - Psycho

@ Sandman- I totally I agree with Silence of the Lambs, although I think of that more of suspense/thriller than horror.
Totally forgot about The Devil's Rejects which totally creeped me out.
And The Shining was creepy- I don't think there's a woman alive who wouldn't feel something about this - the constant threat of domestic violence keeps the heart racing and then there's the creepiness of that kid but the need to protect him- a mother's quandary for sure.
@minute Men- who wouldn't be scared of NoHeart?

House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects were actually good movies. Not scary good, just creepy good.

For random shit on TV that is fucking terrifying, check out BooBaah
Most movies that scared/creeped me out were mostly due to me being like 6 when I watched them. Grew up watching a ton of horror flicks thanks to having older cousins.
Not in any particular order: -Creature -House on Haunted Hill - fun to watch still, and that damn camera scene and the spinning room. -A Haunting in Connecticut - not bad. -Cabin in the Woods - not really scary, but definitely a fun flick -Scream - the very first scream movie did startle me a few times, very fun times. -The Shining - hallway scene, bathtub scene, really this movie is fantastic. -Witches - this British film had me CONVINVED for YEARS that at one point in the movie, a child that is turned into a mouse gets eaten by a witch. Re-watched a few months ago - no such fucking scene happens or was cut. My mind fucking with me?

Hammerfists- that happens or is going to happen in Roald Dahl's book the Witches.... kids get turned into mice by witches... and I'm pretty sure a mouse is eaten at one point.

Alright, so this is one of the damn scenes in Witches that scared the piss out of me when I was 4 - movie came out in 1990. I remember I tried watching this movie twice in the span of a year (so yeah a four or five year old checking this out just two years prior to the Elm Street franchise, I should've manned the fuck up lmao) but alas here's one of the clips, but I've yet to find a scene where they eat the mouse. The way I remember the mouse-eating scene: Red carpet. Mouse and a buddy mouse go under said carpet. One mouse gets found by a witch, she pulls it out and starts playing with it slowly putting in mouth. Mouse may or may not have then been eaten, but that scene itself I believe exists but can't find.
Here's the other scary fucking scene:

I don't think that happened in the movie, but yeah sounds like the writer in the book was based on Ozzy and King just really wanted to break Ozzy's legs lol
