Bixby pulls the shite out of the rope as oliver suggested bixby should do. the rope is pulled... if nothing happens then bixby pulls harder Oliver commands Bixby to pull the rope. Oliver: "Pull the rope ya flimsy bastard!" Bixby tugs at the rope and hears a noise. He gets excited. He pulls harder and the noise gets closer and closer. The water ripples mildly. Bixby gets more excited. Everyone can see just how excited he is, and they get uncomfortable as Bixby furiously tugs and yanks at the rope. Now Bixby is making noises as he exhorts energy, his forearms burning. Tugging harder and harder. Soon, it appears. And everyone is surprised at the size. Some thought it would be bigger, others smaller, but still surprised, nonetheless. A small boat. Bixby sees it and smiles gleefully, and pulls hard, and the boat dips into the heavy water. Bixby stops pulling and watches as the boat floats back to the surface, ridding itself of the water that attempted to swallow it. |

DM: Oliver stares hard at the boat and studies it's make. He figured it could fit up to six men in it, tightly. It is only a bit bigger than a rowboat. Oliver recalled a story from his childhood. There, he played on a row boat, about half the size of this boat, with a few friends. As they rowed out to the middle of a lake, often believed to be a safe place, he took notice of something deep in the waters below, darkening a shadow that cast around it as it rose to the surface. Before it could pierce through the water, Oliver screamed and threw himself backward, bashing his head and falling into the water unconscious. Though he was saved by the others, when he came too at the shore, he could only stare out to the waters in wonder if it had all been a dream. Oliver: How many people ya reckon could fit in that? Milkmire: 1. You can clearly see 1 by looking at it. The answer is 1. How can you not tell the difference between a boat that can hold 1 person and one that can hold 12? I never should have acquired you. Oliver returns to the present feeling shame.

Bixby climbs into the boat and searches everywhere for a dumb looking hat. He takes his shirt and pulls it up and over his face until it sits on his head, blinding him. Blind Bixby: "This ere is my boat. if ye be wanting to travel in it ye need to pay me the toll. Aaarrrrr." Bixby's tongue lashes against the fibers of his shirt, and after quite the adventure so far, it doesn't taste so fresh. bixby climbs into the boat. puts on a dumb looking hat. bixby: (bad pirate accent) This ere is my boat. if ye be wanting to travel in it ye need to pay me the toll. Aaarrrrr. *Oliver steps into the boat and sits down, ignoring everything that was just said.* Immediately the boat begins to sink, slowly. A loud piercing sound screeches through Albert's ears ( only Albert can hear this) as he watches. |
