Anybody here interested in watches. Over the past couple of month I have been developing an interest for them and when I start earning more and I'm more comfortable financially I want to make a collection.

This was the first watch I got:

I got it a little to early when I didn't know much about watches and I kind of regret it because the battery on the watch isn't the greatest and the watch's face is small compared to how I like them.

My most recent watch is this:

I got it for $200 and it went up in price since then. The battery is solar powered so if I wear it outside all day it will be fully powered. Typically one battery will last around 10 years. I love the face and the band and it has a more luxurious look for more formal gatherings.

My next watch I want to get is an automatic watch so it is powered by movements.

Anybody here collect or have any watches?

I got a watch about 25 years ago. It lasted for about 20 years. I replaced it with the exact same watch a few years ago. I wear it 24/7, only taking it off to play hockey. I like it and am going to keep it until it dies. Then I will buy the same one again. My watch costs about $25.

I literally cannot, for unknown reasons, wear any type of jewelry or accessory. I fucking despite wearing anything other than my clothing. I can't even wear a wedding ring.

That’s fair. I actually prefer wearing stuff haha, I feel naked without it. I got a necklace, a couple of rings (that I don’t wear anymore cause I got fat) and my watches.

Oh yes, its ugly as fuck, but I don't wear for style, I wear for "What time is it right now, and please include the date"?

I wear for both, not to mention I’ve been feeling that a nice watch really adds to a fancy look. So the Citizen I wear for weddings or formal gatherings and sometimes work. The Timex I wear just about everyday during work (though the last month I haven’t cause my arm has been in a sling).

I'm not vain, so I don't put 3/10ths of a rats dick of effort into my appearance or how "fancy" I look. That shit costs money and time that I could spend on other things.

The bands I get usually break or I lose the pins. 😂😂

The black rubber on the bands my watch comes with usually last about 4-5 years. As they start to break, I replace the rubber with twist-ties. Then they last forever.

Fair but since I’m in a line of work where there are clients coming in and out of our office everyday I have to dress to impress.
