I say you cant have a flash submission at all. especially not a rear naked choke lmfao but no matter what even a flying armbar you have a setup even if its short or fast. its not the same as bein conscious and at 100% then suddenly being unconscious on the mat. I mean unless you could broken limbs as flash submissions but I dont

I'd even call in your knowledge of MMA at this point... "call in" my MMA knowledge all you want. You: - think fights "should have been" a split decision (that's not how judging works) - believe D'Alelio did not verbally submit to Rousey (checked the rulebook's definition of "technical submission" yet?) - had no idea who Jorge Masvidal was just a week or so ago! - think Martin Kampmann and Sarah D'Alelio are among the best MMA fighters of all time. I'm very, VERY comfortable with my MMA knowledge in contrast with yours, good sir. Literally everyone. EVERYONE knows that if someone is on your back, their primary and most obvious attack is a rear naked choke. And since you cannot get a rear naked choke from any position other than a back (hence the "rear" in rear naked choke), a RNC sub is under no circumstances, a flash submission. This is like an NHLer being surprised that they are required to wear shinpads to play hockey. A fighter might be maneuvered, or tricked into opening up their neck for an RNC, but that is not a damned flash submission - RNC is a back attack submission, and if someone is on your back, your neck is in danger. Arguing otherwise just makes it look like either a) you do not know what a RNC is, or b) you know nothing about the basics of BJJ Wow... You must still think I'm just one of your lackies... I'm not. Good for you quoting some Google shit... Can you say you've had an MMA fight?

Can you say you've had an MMA fight? It's not relevant to someone's MMA knowledge, but if you want to go there, yes. Submission sparring when this dude ran a gym in my hometown. (I was never flash-RNCed). I was also friends with this dude, and my brother-in-law has cornered several MMA fights, and invited me to join him the next time he did it (he did not end up doing anymore, because his wife got pregnant). Also, since "pictures with people" matters to you, I have had my picture taken with Cris Cyborg, when Mike and I attended her training seminar. Any other demonstrations of your complete and utter ignorance you want to share with the room? lol.

In any capacity... At all? Yu claim it's irrelevant, but the fact is, unless you've rolled with anyone yourself, you really have no real knowledge of MMA or the interworkings of it from a ground level. It's super easy to just sit there and be a lazy ass armchair quarterback and critique, but folks have more credibility when they've done it themselves. I really don't think you really have... meeting Cyborg at a fucking comic book store or something doesn't make you an expert. 😂😂

So yes, I have done that, by your own definition. +1 Justin We are not comparing armchair knowledge to experience. I am not debating with someone with experience, I am debating with you. You have less practical and armchair knowledge (as you have demonstrated) +2 Justin I just explained to you that I have. +3 Justin We met Cyborg at a closed workout session, not some comic store. +4 Justin Just walk away from this one dude, you are seriously just embarrassing yourself and I am starting to legit feel bad for you now.

You're the only one embarrassing themselves dude... High school wrestling, Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, rolling with GAP who has BJJ training, pro wrestling training, but no... I've done nothing at all. 🙄 You're literally batting zero as to your knowledge of what I've done. You go to ONE fucking "training session" with Cyborg and you're some "guru" of MMA. 😂😂 Fuck off. 🖕

....And then you cite "professional wrestling training" as MMA experience. I can see why people are "flash submitting" you with RNCs.
EL. EM. AYE. OH.
I don't even need to keep saying things - you just sit there and undermine your own credibility all on your own.
Carry on if you want (we all know you do want to keep arguing about nothing, so no one will hold it against you. I'm done here, lol.

I also took MMA lessons for a month if that counts Aside from the debate about RNCs, from your month of MMA, do you think there is such a thing as flash submissions?

Yeah I do mention pro wrestling training cuz it takes elements of MMA to do it as well.. unlike you, I've actually gone out and done these things, not just sat on my ass behind a computer screen playing keyboard commando, claiming to be a fucking MMA guru when all you've really done is go to one training session with Cris Cyborg. It's your credibility that's in question here, bud... not mine.

Yeah... 1 or 2 years worth, if I remember correctly. xx - Team GAP should be able to tell you more accurately.

If they get you off your game real quickly and submit you before you even realize what just happened then I'd call it a flash submission.

I almost had an amateur fight with someone from my home town who was in amateur fighting, because I shit talk him and he said step in the cage and say that, and then The Sandmen told me I was not allowed.
