I almost had an amateur fight with someone from my home town who was in amateur fighting, because I shit talk him and he said step in the cage and say that, and then The Sandmen told me I was not allowed.  What? Is he Dad now? 😂😂 Probably good advice though if you've had zero training in much at all. I know sure as hell I wouldn't now at my age and physical shape these days. 😜 Probably take me close to a year to get into that kind of shape again. |

I fought a 6'3 guy in hockey. I'm 5'7 and was fatter at the time. He was also a cop. Wasn't fun.

There's a point you have to step in and protect people from themselves, whether you are their dad or not. |

I've had no documented or diagnosed concussions, though I'm certain that I've had at least 1 or 2. |

I don't think I have had a concussion, but if I have, it was from the time I was playing hockey (goalie) and during a practice one of my teammates/friends thought it would be funny to trip me. From behind. So my head (in a V-mask with limited back-of-head protection) hits the ice and I torqued by back pretty good. I was not really hurt, but I was definitely annoyed. Who the fuck trips their only goalie, from behind, during a practice? |

I got back up and got in his face too; pure adrenaline though. lol One of my linemates got him back on a later shift after his penalty. I got back to the bench and had to miss 1 or 2 shifts just to get my bearings back and went back out there, like we do. lol |

I hear ringing in my ears almost any time I have the slightest contact to my head or any noise happens near my head. Unfortunate really. Sometimes I even hear ringing for no reason.
