Precisely. I have def-legit respect for gents who stand up like this. He mentions that fighters are afraid to speak up and I don't doubt that one bit. If GSP can get tossed under the bus as brutally as he did by Dana, imagine how disposable mid-carders are.

I'm thinking he may be put into a different position. It's sort of Brian Burke scenario. Brian Burke couldn't have a successful team if HE was the face of the franchise. Now Kessel is the face of the franchise, and the team is more successful.
Dana White is the most recognizeable name in the UFC, not the champions. MAYBE Anderson Silva is a wider name, but not many people could say they didn't know who Dana was because of his constant publicity.

Several reasons. 1) Foremost, because both Chats were full of osmething more interesting/important/ongoing, 2) Because Quarry is trash talking the UFC.

I think of the trash talk area as more ManMMA trash talk and not this. I still consider this to be UFC chat, regardless of more interesting/important/ongoing, doesn't matter if Quarry's trashing the UFC or not. |
