I could've broken my stick over the ref's head. But how about you try working your ass off to make it to the finals only for it to be cut short in the semi-finals by a ref that was probably being paid by the other team. They scored with 10 seconds left in the game from an illegal play. One of their players passed the puck with his hand (hand-pass) to his teammate which is an illegal play. I told the ref, he told me to shut up and gave me a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct, I break my stick over the crossbar into two pieces, throw it at the ref, get escorted off the ice, and then I swore at the ref, convener, the other team, and the parents on the other team.

Well that didn't help your case any. If anything, it makes you look like quite the immature little brat, to be honest. Got some issues ya might wanna resolve before taking to the ice again, friend. All of that behaviour you described was behaviour you did. It's something you should be embarrassed about, and apologizing to people for. It's something you should be trying to change about yourself so you never fly off the handle again. Cause that's really, really sad man. |

This was my last season playing in that league anyways. To go out of the playoffs in he way my team did I feel that what I did showed the league the kind of bullshit that they put us through. I don't pay $600 a year to be treated like shit by the refs. "Treat others the way you want to be treated" The ref treats me and my team like shit I'm gonna make him pay.

They never threw sticks at me. Remember I'm not an adult like you guys so $600 is a lot to me. I'm not gonna waste my money to have the refs be fucking shit. Plus it was barely even a throw. It wasn't like a fucking javelin throw, it was a throw that hit the blade of his skate not his body.

Regardless, even if you had and paid $1M, that doesn't give you the right to assault someone. When I played, ref's got paid like, $20 a game. They don't deserve that shit. It was an act of bullying, and you should see it as such. A ref does not have a hockey stick, nor equipment to defend himself. You were instilling fear in another human being through your own temper tantrum and physical actions. That is not okay, and is bullying of a high level (bordering on assault with a weapon). Control yourself. You owe yourself that. You aren't a damned thug. |

LOL at them making 300 per game. I was a ref, and that is absolutely not correct.
Also, you're crazy if you think that paying to participate in a sport gives you carte-blanche to assault someone with a weapon.

First off I did no bodily harm since it hit his skate. Second, I put to many 0s, it was supposed to be $30/game.
Oh ya, I also got a call from the league telling me that they have taken away my expulsion because:
i) The ref accepted a bribe from the coach of the other team (the ref is now fired as the coach for the other team)
ii) There was no bodily harm caused.
iii) Was a way of anger release for losing in one of the most cheapest ways.

I see.
I used to cry everytime I got hit down on the ice when I was 11. Took my dad four months to realize my old helmet's padding had become solid due to years of sweat and whatnot, and it was actually giving me concussions because the padding was hard as a rock.
I feel like the other discussion is a lost cause.

Then again I made 2 records in that league.
i) When I was 12 I set the record for quickest goal (4 seconds) by a 12 year old.
ii) When I was 14 I sett the record for quickest kick-out of a game (I was kicked out before the game even started for "intentionally" tripping a player)
