I think I walked away with about 200 left on it, which the school does NOT reimburse you for, they take the money and terminate the card on a yearly basis. So we had like a week to use it up, hence encouraging people to buy themselves drinks and shit to take home with them. Nothing like shopping in a cafeteria.

No you didn't. I made sure as fuck sure you didn't have much, if anything left on that. I got so, so much chocolate milk. If you had money left, I failed you as a friend and as a human.

lol it was a 1500 dollar card, and I had like 5 left. Between the six of us, we managed to buy about 300 dollars in food, so I lost a bit, but not as much as I could have.

No kidding. I took Montana and Brandon out after the awards for food too because we were all starving.

Not me though...but I guess I had family at the awards thing. That was fun. There were some ungood films at that festival.

Holy balls. I work with a girl I did my last film with - the one that was nearly a porno. She spent more time with the hippie dude that did Colon: Canada than I did and kept saying that he was stoned non-stop, and kept yelling at people over the weather.

Also, I should specify, she dated Evan for about a year... we have Evan chats on a bi-weekly basis.

A lot of that made no sense to me, but awesome.
We were lucky cause editing on ". . ." was easy. We learned a lot, then used that info to do better editing work on our subsequent films.

Yes. He was indeed Suzanne Glover's son. His parents split, but his father is a hot shot lawyer with a penthouse on toronto island. His mother owns a mansion downtown Sudbury right off Paris bridge. He would often invite people over, say "drink and eat whatever you'd like" as a thousand bottles of wine lined the cellar, and a massive double-door fridge invited people to plow into anything from pizza to caviar.

...so I guess what I'm trying to say is that whether you shoot a film with me or him, one way or the other, you get free food. Yay!

True! I should have signed up for his films and got free cool stuff from his rich as hell ass.
Also of interest though, editing. I want to talk about editing. Editing our project for Literary Non-Fiction was one of the best editing sessions ever.

Dude. The fact that we sat down and said "talking in front of a class is boring, let's make a film" was hilarious when these two girls who sooo don't know us agreed to do it. Having them do voice-work and then bail was funny, and the fact that it took us 20 hours was fucking ROUGH.
Didn't we edit in the school's editing room until like 6am? and class at 10?

Yes. Well, I had a monring class I think I bailed on, then that class was an afternoon-evening one i think. Maybe a 3-6? But the fact that they saw it for the first time when it was presented to the class was A+ gold. Also, we made several dick references and jokes and it was okay becuase we had Siggy.
