We've made films and shit in the past, but I like recalling fun memories.
Justin, what was the name of the chick we turned down to go with Montana for ...? Denise?

Yes. She was gung-ho at the table, but didn't reply to our follow up. Only Montana did. Montana has since gone on to get married and have a baby. You still friends with her on Facebook?
Also, I still don't get why everyone assumed we were making a pornography. Sure, we needed 1 dude and one chick, but why the hell would we have an open casting call in a school hallway for a pornography? Come on now, world.

I had Montana on facebook for a bit, she was a cool chick. I know my bro even got hung up on her a bit.
The porno aspect I think is due to two guys with facial hair wearing leather jackets with a sign that said "Wanted: 2 actors - 1 male, 1 female" all we needed to add to the creepy factor was a sentence underneath that said "You know what's 'up'"

I was sad that we had so many people sign up, but none of them followed up with us. Except Tim. I really liked him, and wish we could have got a project going with him.

Here is a pic of Denise, who we passed up on the film. She went on to compete in Miss Canada competitions.

This is Montana, who we used for the film and was great, and coincidentally is in this pic with Randy Couture! Neat.

Good for us. Fuck. Tim's hotter though, to be honest. And Denise is great, but I think Montana was perfect for the role. We also had that problem where Tim didn't sound the way he looked, which could be a problem with voice over work. Reality doesn't matter when it comes to fiction.

Tee hee, I remember that picture of her with Randy.

Yes, that was a problem, it was also difficult coordinating a schedule with them to be able to do voice over and ended up using Ali and Daryn. Tim had a great look and would have done well, but the voice over would have been way off the mark.

For Daryn, yes. But at the time we thought we could get everyone to record their own voice-overs at the time. But he had one of those voices that just...didn't sound like he looked. I really wanted to do something with him after. Damnit. He even asked us a bunch of times how the project went. A genuinely good guy.

and the schedule, wow, that was hard. We had so much availability and Daryn just had his first daughter several months before. PLanning film-work around a 1 year olds life is crazy hard. I know that first-hand, we did that with Absentia and Jimmy Sparkles, haha.

Yes, it was really difficult, and in some ways I think it took away from the overall quality of the film, but I'm still proud of what we did for our first film.
I also had fun using my food card to buy everyone meals as we did the shooting lol

OMG, I totally forgot about that. Like 2 weeks left of school, and you had like, $200 on a cafeteria meal card, hahahah. "Eat, eat my pretties" you kept saying. We assumed you were poisoning us, and were all pleasantly surprised when we all survived.

Yes. I convinced everyone that the BBQ Bacon Cheddar was the best burger at the school, and most ordered and agreed. We also agreed that their poutines were oddly always cold.

I remember none of that. Just that I got a bunch of chocolate milks and the odd pizza slice, cause I was not a fan of cafe food. Glad the card didn't go to waste tho. That freaked me out. And I am sure the cast and crew appreciated the catering
