I remember when I got into "intellectual arguments" with my "friends" in high school and when they were losing based on context and content, they immediately resorted to correcting language thinking that somehow made them smarter. It doesn't. If you can't look beyond the appearance of a given thought to discuss the heart of the topic, then you're not intelligent enough to even participate.
Case in point, a doctor in China starts writing as best as he can in English to explain a given topic. He is incredibly knowledgeable, but his language-crossover is clearly showing grammar errors. Do you read through it to educate yourself and respond, or do you start quoting him and fixing punctuation? No point in educating and participating, better to pretend you're smart by being an asshole.
Note: Your asshole isn't smart. It just delivers your shit.

If a person's first language is English then they should know proper grammar for English. If there second language is English then they should be able to speak it but not have the greatest grammar in it.

I could make Matt Serra a Franchise Fighter, yet he has a losing record and also has never won a title in ManMMA. But I can make him a franchise fighter too make him exempt from FiD because he's a "Legend"?! Does that really seem right to you? thas what i mean tho he should be better and this would help him be better. its exactly what im talkin about. him frank mir etc. murphy aint done shit but at least hansen was dream champion and grand pris winner thats somethin. and serra a ufc champ he should be legit same with gracies and mir and severn and all them guys. but not the new guys from tuf and all that crap. it would give the real legends a boost. and even if hansen not count as a legend then so be it he cant be a franchise fighter thats where i see it as az good thing if its legends only cause then it makes the crappy legends have a bit of an edge if they get training easier ya know??? |

no anyone should be allowed to be a FT'er its essentially a way for teams to save 2-3 fighter from FID pretty much so those crappy legends that do suck like roycie gracie and what not don't go on the FID block and you have the whole season 2 a upgrade them without worrying about them being cut or b) ignore them the season not worrying about losing them and work on your other fighter that are good or mediocre and then renominating the same fighters that sucks the next season still keeping them off the FID, i love these idea 100% and hope we can get it through by the start of next season..
