With the ratings turn in 98 .Point I was trying to make is that was when the momentum shifted WWE's way , people were tuned into both shows but the NWO was old and what WWE was showing was new and unpredictable . Like I said ,that was when WCW ran into money problems Your trying to say Chris Jericho , RVD , Eddie etc were nobody's before going the wwe way. Do you even know what the WWE way is ? Chris Jericho (first undisputed champ in WWE , beat stone cold and Rock on the same night . Lost it to triple H at wrestlemaina ),Eddie and Benoit weren't pushed much in wwe at that time because WWE had depth , they were still looked at as the enemy and because Triple H was power hungry and wanted to be "the man" . Triple H stomped on a lot of people to become champion as many times as he's been. Your laughing at Chavo but what's the different between Chavo and a guy like Dean Ambrose ? Not gonna lie that last part about me believing everything about the IWC kinda struck a nerve but Your born in 96 you probably didn't even watch any of the attitude era or even any of the 2000-2003 product . I was born in 94 but I remember everything I watched from 98 onward. Most of the facts you've brought up are probably stuff you read on the Internet from the IWC . you also weren't even alive in the 80's so how would you even know if the times are the same . Watching it when it was happening is a lot different then reading it a joes opinion on Certain guys like Jericho . Your obviously too blinded by this current garbage to realize how bad it is . A young RVD or young anyone who was buried on the roster in the Monday night wars would thrive in today's WWE. That is how bad today's product is .

Holy shit. I just realized that for both of you hardcores (Knockouts and Underdogs), the Attitude Era was like...something you maybe kinda watched as a child or were barely alive for. For me, that was shit we talked about at the high school bus stop, or stuff we bused to Toronto for on our own. I remember going to the first Raw in Toronto in like, many years. (They said at the time it was the first Raw in Toronto, but I read later that was pretty much a lie). Fuck, our buddy xx - Camp Cannon here spent most of Grade 8 getting suspended for Stone Cold Stunnering my fellow students. Or Diamond-cuttering some poor sap onto some a fence, or DDTing someone onto concrete. A lot has just been put into perspective and I feel old and very, very fortunate to have experienced The Monday Night Wars and the Attitude Era on a weekly basis. Not just as a DVD, or some stories from old guys.

Wrestling felt so real lol remember being so sacred of Undertaker and his stable .

Yeah, like even that. There was a time when the Undertaker was very legitimately creepy. Despite being wrestling the fucking Ministry of Darkness was legit fucking creepy, hanging people and having ceremonies and stuff.
I also miss it because it was a time when everyone wasn't a "smart" fan. You kinda were, but it wasn't all about the "OMG, I can't believe they made ____ lose to ___". You had a sliver of that, but you still held a little bit of the facade - the "Damn, Triple H lost to the Rock again. That ASSHOLE, I hate the fucking Rock" sort of thing.

I don't have it, but I would say that wrestling was amazing from about 1994 to 2003, and then I fell out of it. The exact turning point for me, as I can completely pin it down, is Royal Rumble 2000 when rashiki did the fucking too cool dance, and I immediately started to lose interest. I held on for a few more years, but that fucking moment nearly destroyed everything for me.
And while I hated him at first, I really think Mankind (this character specifically) rescued the WWE with the Undertaker match and brought it to a ridiculous new height. Then came all the other glorious stuff until it just sort of faded away into obscurity, and finally, a month after that stupid fucking dance, this happens:

so who all here has wwe network am i the only one? No, I got it for Wrestlemania... though my modem crapped out part way through. It'd be nice if they could offer the 'On Demand' stuff like they do with the other channels. Otherwise, I'm pretty pleased for only $11.99. lol

I like that I comment on this and then the wrestling talk goes away. Now I know why I don't have any friends.
