That is the worst layout I've ever seen. It doesn't take into consideration the customers, and just tries to figure out how to compact more people into a confined space like sardines.

Exactly. NOW, that being said, it would be MUCH funner and easier to talk to your friends if you were all a group positioned that way. "Party Class"

Something else I just noticed with that design...its like, for the seats on the lover half of the design...how awkward is it for that 1 dude facing 2 strangers? Especially if they were friends or something and you are just one dude travelling alone. Then it's YOU facing the 2 strangers, and you know they both think you are the serial killer weirdo stranger facing them and its all just so fucking AWKWARD. (Except where I mentioned above, that would be cool)

I dunno... I like it. It looks like it gives more leg room. As for the movies, they'd either have to have it showing on two screens in the front and in the back or have the TVs embedded in back of the seats, like some do now. It depends on how much you travel alone that it would affect you "sitting next to a stranger" or not. It's really no different to me if they're beside me or facing me... if I'm traveling with someone, I'd probably enjoy it more being able to face them than the way it is now.
