It does answer the question. A well-upgraded capped Fedor will be better than a well-upgraded, capped Mustapha Al-Turk. That is why we have the varied caps.

Not at all... that actually contradicts yourself because on one hand you're saying that overall is irrelevant and that anyone can beat anyone, but on the other you're saying that a higher overall fighter WILL be better than a lower one, which we've seen, numerous times now, that is just simply not the case. You've said numerous times now that you have no idea why Fedor isn't more dominant based on his upgrades, yet you'll still sit there and say that he's "not upgraded well", whatever the hell that means. Well, which is it man? It can't be both.

I'm a bit concerned that you are still confused after all this, Kruzey. I'll try a different analogy.
Think of it as baseball.
A-rank fighters get 7 at-bats, C fighters get 3. Having a higher rank gets you more at-bats, thus more opportunity for hits, but having those at-bats does not necessarily equal hits.
If you make the most of your C-rank fighter, you can go 3 for 3. If you make the least out of your A-rank fighter, you can go 1 for 7. So in that way, you can clearly see how a C-rank fighter can do better than an A-rank fighter.
If you make the most of your A-rank fighter, he can go 7 for 7, whereas your C-rank can only go 3 for 3. Since no one has built a perfect fighter, anything in the 100-percent-talk is irrelevant.
And as always, ALL of that being said, no one will ever win 100% of the time. There is still a chaos factor involved with cuts, flash finishes, etc.

And as always, ALL of that being said, no one will ever win 100% of the time. There is still a chaos factor involved with cuts, flash finishes, etc. No confusion at all... you simply use whichever one of your "explanations" suits you at any given moment to suit your argument at that time and "forget" about the other one until it's convenient. I get that you're annoyed about Del Rio being drafted here, but the fact is that he was an MMA fighter, and even falls under your "1 MMA win" rule too, with 7. I mean, you ask for people's opinions, but when the ones are given that don't align with yours, they're either dismissed completely or you argue your point to death, then do whatever you want anyways because you get frustrated when someone doesn't see it your way. It's your same old crap, just a different day. The fact is, and what you should be saying to folks, is that you only care about their opinions if they agree with you. Sad, but true... It's never been about any fighter winning 100% of the time or building "the perfect fighter", so I'm not sure where you're driving at with that one unless you're trying to confuse the issue even further. There's always going to be flash wins, crappy stoppages and crap, but the fact is that we already had a clear line with who were the elite fighters and who weren't before the tiered cap(s). We have fighters here, mostly yours or were yours, that have had nearly 100 fights here and they've got less than 20 losses or have just barely broken 10. So you can't sit there and tell me that any gap has been narrowed exponentially. The ideas for the cap were 1) so folks couldn't make a 100 overall fighter and 2) to help close the gap more that exists even between the good/really good fighters & the elite ones. Having one or 2 fighters break through once, isn't enough to even be close to thinking that has happened yet... I'd understand a lot of these changes if that was the case, but it's simply not, every off-season (or every other one) you're the one tinkering and changing one thing or another, and it's usually to the detriment of the league and only favors a small handful of members and not the entire league as a whole. This current suggestion of yours is no different really... It's paranoid bullshit of something that hasn't happened to any worrisome extent, nor would, because there simply isn't that many "cross-over" fighters that would be drafted now, especially with the tiered cap system, but more importantly, you never see 90% of the guys that are being claimed as worrisome, because none of them have ever had an MMA fight, let alone a If someone wants to have a project fighter that they like, for whatever reason, I don't care. Folks either had no idea of some of the guys I took when I started, even the former champions I took, and most of them have turned out just fine for the most part... Some may have losing records, but it's not like they don't belong here either.

The Rocketmen, can I get a TL;DR version of that? I have neither the time nor the interest in continuing this shit ad nauseam. Thanks in advance, bro.

You agree with him ALL the time and your fighters do well... Big Time! lol Don't kid yourself Byron... I get what you're trying to say here, but the fact is that I have 'listened to his "help" too...', hasn't done a lot different than what I was already doing nor the other methods I've tried for upgrading. I was already building a competitive GP team, and I have that now... Had that for about 2-3 seasons now... AND I have atleast 4-5 championship worthy fighters that "just can't quite get there", even though, most of them, have been there before and have beaten whoever the champion is in their title fights atleast once before, save for D'Alelio vs. Carano. Look at the champion banner, who's up there now and who's been up there for the last 10 seasons, atleast... So what you're saying up there is actually true, in that: if you kiss Sandman's ass and you can have success in ManMMA. Oppose him on things, and deal with what I have had to since Franklin won his title for me. ..Oh, and he'll extend that to anyone that's friends with me or that agrees with me for a bit, then gives them a bone to come over to his side. It's hilarious cuz the guy doesn't want WWE or pro wrestler guys in this league, but he hasn't shown anything other than running this place like thinks he's Vince McMahon and the WWE, right down to imposing rules on the the league that only he wants and throwing a fit when the league had the 'audacity' to tell him "No, we don't like that idea." I've had my moments; I won't dispute that for a second... But you refuse to see the exact same outbursts and things out of Sandman, that happen all the time... That's what's disappointing.

Kruze believes that you only listen to people who agree with you and fight with those that do not. We know who is good and who is not. Your fighters are primarily better fighters than everyone elses fighters. The cap was supposed to narrow that gap, but save for a few surprises it has not done that to Kruzes liking. Every off season you change something that usually hurts majority and helps minority. This new rule is not required because the problem has not happened that it is trying to fix. People are allowed to have project fighters, even those that some are not familiar with. My guys were sort of unheard of and they are good now.

My guys were sort of unheard of and they are good now. LMAO Really?! Back to your "TL;DR" trolling bullshit "translations" again there, Rocky? That wasn't even the entire point... The fact is that it's freaking ridiculous and hypocritical of Sandman to even suggest this, let alone implement it when he's saying "I only want the best of the best here in ManMMA.", yet only Anderson Silva, Cung Le & Ben Henderson of his 10 (total) different ManMMA champions he's ever had here have been UFC, Pride or Strikforce champions, which he claims to be the only 3 promotions that matter... All the rest of his ManMMA champions, with the exception of Cro Cop & Carano, have been scrubs and project fighters, but none were ever "the best" or champions. Slice, Hansen, Rumble, Aoki & Askren... Hell, Askren was even a joke pick up for him at the time; made into a champion. So how can he really sit there and get frustrated with any of us taking anyone we want to and try to tell us we can't do something that he's made a majority of his entire ManMMA career doing? Does that really seem right to you?
