As a result of the cluster-fuckery in this thread, some action is being dished.
1) I'm giving The Killing Joke a strike and a half, and a 6 point fine. His post was meaningless, off-topic, and had absolutely no purpose other than to ruin something for someone else for no reason what so over.
2) I'm giving xx - Camp Cannon the option of a 8 point fine, or a strike. The strike would be his third, and will result in his removal from the site should he opt for the strike for some reason. Typically, the fine would not be so high, but Cannon has been warned about spoilers already, and more than once. Yet he continues to try to spoil things for people. He has also spent much of the past 3 weeks trying desperately to troll people, and make people unhappy. He also posted 2 separate spoilers in the thread. What kept him from getting the 3rd strike and immediate removal, however, was he did not start the nonsense, he began playing along with what he felt was some sort of game, started by someone else. His posts were clearly attempts to make jokes, and were technically in line with the direction the topic had devolved into. This does not forgive his spoilers, but it did save him this one time from an instant third strike. No such leniency will be provided in the future.
3) I am giving xx - Former Bulldozers a soft verbal warning for spoilers in the same thread. Though he did bust out the spoilers, it was in-line with what turned into the topic, even though the topic itself was unacceptable at the time. So, Joubran - here is your soft verbal warning - "Please don't post things that happen in movies in off-topic threads. Thanks." No additional action will be taken, and no official warnings will be added to his account.
4) I am giving xx - Former Bulldozers an additional soft verbal warning for posting off-topic stuff in the Point Transaction thread after I stated that I wanted people to stop doing so. So again, here is your soft verbal warning - "Don't. Thanks." No additional action will be taken, and no official warnings will be added to his account.
