I don't do the rankings personally, but I get updates on how they are updated. Names play absolutely no part, since, during the season, it's 100% about who you beat (and where that person was ranked). Off-season, people's positions usually get a review, and if someone is on a major winning streak they might get pushed up over someone who is on a major losing streak. In-season (and definitely by this point of the season), your ranking means you beat someone of that ranking to earn the ranking you have. hope that clarified things for you some. I didn't ask... So no... You didn't clear anything up at all. I do find them to be very name weighted, regardless of what you claim to the contrary. Of course you would not ask, nor listen to people who actually know things. It would shake the foundation of your, "But I live in my own special world and no one else can come in" bubble. Carry on. (Predicted reply from PHX: "No, you!" And since I have now posted that, an alternative will now be, "You assume, and are wrong as usual". And now, PHX is officially out of replies. #CheckmateBitches)

There isn't names ranking for either men's or women's... It just seems like it cuz mostly the same fighters are in there all the time. It's rare to see anyone different, unfortunately. what the fuck r u talking about the mens is a name popularity poll on ranker.com or w/e the sites called That's for upgrading purposes, Normand... lol What we're talking about are the actual ManMMA site rankings... You know... The little numbers in front of some fighters on our cards?! 😜

Nothing new there... But I'm also not required to agree with you on every single nit-picky thing nor should I be attacked by the administration of this site for making a simple observation that, at the end of day, doesn't make much difference in the grand scheme of things anyways. You tell me to pick my battles all the time. Perhaps you should take your own advice too. The rankings are actually a bit name weighted, partly because of the nature of the site and by design. That's just a fact. I'm sorry you don't like that stance or think I'm saying something I'm not by making that observation, but I also don't deserve your ridicule & rhetoric because you believe it's some personal attack towards you, or anyone else, all because you feel the need to belittle and berate anyone that doesn't share your views, vision or ideas. Well, I can't help you there either man... It's your choice whether or not to do such things when people don't agree with you, not mine. But that's always been the case, so I don't expect that to change anytime soon either. So you carry on Justin... One of these days it will comeback to bite you in the ass. #Karma

In order to be a person who can be ranked yes, they require a name. Unless they are Prince and go by a symbol now.
So yes. The rankings are name weighted as most if not all of the fighters that are ranked do, in fact, have a name.

But another classic example of the rampant trolling on this site. Thanks for that example at least Rocketmen. 👍

You have none, other than you claiming this to be a fact. The evidence is in black and white when you look at the rankings thread. You really do need to stop taking everything as a personal attack here man. I'm not accusing anyone of anything. It just is what it is.

Saying "Look at a thread," is not providing evidence of your claim. I am still awaiting evidence of your claim. Cite examples.

The rankings are in black and white to fit the aesthetic of the site.

I'm confused, because there are ranked fighters who aren't that good irl. So what exactly is being argued here? We also have fighters who are lower ranks than they would be if it was weighted by irl names.
