kruze has a point. if kyra hasnt fought in a mma fight... what is she doing here? now that we have enough proper female fighters she should go. otherwise bautista, mickey gall and cm punk should be allowed in. The answer to your question is when we created the female division, there were few WMMA fighters (remember, we had like, 12 teams, 2 per team, and none of us knew that many female fighters). She was brought in because she was on several "top female MMA fighers of all time" lists from third party sites. She was upgraded, people used points to buildher, and to trade fo rher, etc. And she is on a team now. So, as austin keeps saying, she was grandfathered in because of that. That said, I have told xx - Former Phoenix Fight Club, however, that if he wanted to acquire her for fair market value, and request HIS fighter be retired from the league, I would consider it. Retiring other people's well-upgraded and maintained fighters is another matter. |

IF we decide to remove her, and retroactively apply the Gall-Punk to the entire league, you will instantly be losing Jason MacDonald and Martin Kampmann, as neither of them are ManMMA-eligible either. They, too, were grandfathered in, just like Kyra. YOu can go on about the MMA fights thing, but the hard line of eligibility now is the Gall-Punk ammendment. Any revisions will be based on that, and not on our ancient policy of "they only needed 1 fight". You cannot pick and choose criteria based on the whims of one member. You cannot demand changes 7 years after the fact, just becuase you are bum-sore you did not get a useless, meaningless, nothing of an MMA fighter. Go watch actual MMA instead of stupid WWE-MMA crossover sideshows and find some real fighters instead of this jackass. TL:DR - Kyra was mentioned too many times, so I am hard-NO'ing Bautista now.

Nothing you say makes sense. Either 1) Ineligible people should be removed (Kyra, Jason, Martin get removed), or 2) Eligible people are grandfathered in (Kyra, Jason and Martin are allowed). How does your brain process this as any sort of threat, or rhetoric?
You seem to want some strange hybrid of the rules to be applied in order to remove people from other teams without that same standard being applied to your own team. Thats...gonna be a no, bro.

i personally believe this is a fantasy mma site.. not a best of the best mma site.. i think whoever has actually fought a mma fight should be eligible to be taken by a team. I know sandmen doesnt agree but im talking about my opinion not anyone elses. the site is for fun lets all remember that.

Respect for that opinion? Sure. But is there any hope in hell of it happening here? Unfortunately, no. That is not the site I have created here, anymore than EA Sports NHL 20 is a soccer game. I will have no part of a site that is overrun with WWE guys with horrible real life MMA careers just because they are "fun". That will undoubtedly ruin the entire site for me, including my interest in simming it. Suffice it to say, we are all beating a dead horse here at this point, as Bautista is ineligible, and unless we want to have a mass exodus of retirees by looking into retroactively bringing the entire site into compliance with the Gall-Punk Amendment, it looks like we are pretty much done here, no?  |

If you wanna open that can of worms, lots of fighters are going to be removed from teams do to not being eligible. You want fighters from your team being removed? If they've already fought in ManMMA, then they should be eligible. That's the point I'm making. I don't even have a problem with Gall or Punk coming in at all either. The Punk-Gall addendum is fucking stupid, at it's core, anyways... this is a fucking fantasy league, not real life FFS. If they've fought in real life MMA, then let them in. Who really cares? It's not like we're bringing in the Undertaker & John Cena or some shit, these actual fighters.... whether they're good or not. Correct.
