What/when are you talking about? The closest I came to telling you you could take Bautista back was where I publicly said this: In our PMs you said: Fair. Okay let's break this down: This is out of context and does not say anything about allowing you to have Batista. But remember for now and in the future, there is no "Gracie card", that is done and finished. Here he is saying stop bringing up Kyra Gracie. She is here, and is going to stay here until her team gets rid of her. The Gall-Punk is what governs all people coming into the league from this point forward, whether they were already here or not. Here he is further stating that the amendment is here and here to stay. It is what decides who can be signed whether they've been here or not. Every FA signing has to go through the Punk-Gall amendment before they're signed. Oh, that must be what Kruze was talking about. There Justin clearly states Batista is going to be allowed onto his team. |

The way he was talking to me, he made it sound like he was trying to donate Brock to you, but if you are trying to take Batista, it doesn't look like you guys are having success there. He hasn't contacted me at all on Brock... So I know nothing of what he's doing. As for Dave, I wanted to build him before, and being he's been ManMMA before, I took a shot cuz I'm bored, and he's technically eligible. I pulled the Gracie card as an example; nothing more. I'm nearly in the GP, which is nice, but I have no title shots on the horizon, so... Make my own fun. Fair. Respect for that opinion? Sure. But is there any hope in hell of it happening here? Unfortunately, no. That is not the site I have created here, anymore than EA Sports NHL 20 is a soccer game. I will have no part of a site that is overrun with WWE guys with horrible real life MMA careers just because they are "fun". That will undoubtedly ruin the entire site for me, including my interest in simming it. Suffice it to say, we are all beating a dead horse here at this point, as Bautista is ineligible, and unless we want to have a mass exodus of retirees by looking into retroactively bringing the entire site into compliance with the Gall-Punk Amendment, it looks like we are pretty much done here, no?  i dont make the rules... i just expect that everyone will follow the rules. and you can make whatever site you want with whatever rules you want...but if we dont agree we dont have to stay. |

The point: We established you are entitled to feel however you want about that, and have whatever opinion you want about that.

Might as well just tell people the truth Sandman... There was no "we" that established anything in ManMMA. You believe you're the only authority on anything MMA related, and that includes who should and shouldn't be on the site. There was resistance when you implemented the ridiculous Punk-Gall addendum, and you didn't give a shit cuz you think your opinion on MMA is the only one that matters. Simple as that. And when you're challenged on anything, folks are met with threats, ridicule, rhetoric, innuendo, or just an outright middle finger cuz the site isn't about the members anymore, it's about you and your enjoyment; no one else's really, unless they agree with you. I need only point to your own threat that, if "we" didn't implement the Punk-Gall addendum, you would simply lose interest and shut down the site. Basically saying to everyone "I get my way, or else...". This is a fantasy league man... it always has been. And if someone wants an actual fighter on they're team that was an actual pro fighter, regardless of how good or bad they were, that should be the team's choice to make, not yours. |
