It's my job to carefully think and overthink every rule that passes through here. There's no indication anyone else would be willing to do it (or if anyone even cares to put forth the effort to do so).

There's thinking, over-thinking and then there's WAY over-thinking man. lol And I've noticed when you get into the latter realm, you tend to over-complicate the issues even though it's actually really simple. That's not a jab or anything; just an observation.

Few issues are simple. The difference between me and morons is morons look at an issue on the surface, define it as simple, then move on. I look at the ACTUAL issue, and solve that. The issue here is creating a line. Everyone said what they WANTED out of all this was to see the title fights that mattered. Well, the way of determining title fights is the tournament. Are we going to be happy if Sarah D'Alelio, or Sarah Kaufman meets Leslie Smith or Kim Couture in finals then loses to said scrub on a shitty, 15 second cut? That actually ruins 2 fights, since the title fight would also be a wash, in that scenario.

Not over-complicating things, man. Just thinking beyond the "RIGHT NOW". It's important in this line of work. Otherwise people bring in stupid rules that make sense for a month, then cause long-term problems down the line. It's happened on sites in the past I have been a part of, and have learned from those mistakes.

in this case i think it's for the betterment of the site and not going to be an issue down the road as it's cut and dry.. ONLY FOR TITLE FIGHTS. if you start letting in N1C rematches and allowing tournement rematches.. then it starts becomming an issue later on down the road... but by staying with title fights only.. because title fights are special. then you have no problems.. nice and simple.. nice and easy.

This is exactly what I meant by opening your eyes Byron. I didn't start this thread nor did I have anything to do with it being started. All I did was offer my opinion... that's it. This is about title fights moving forward, has nothing to do with the fact that Sarah lost the fight; that is not the issue of this thread.
