Feel free to post any factual things you want here in this thread, for no reason.
I wanted to share with someone (so everyone) that earlier today, I was eating Doritos, and as I was chewing, one of the shards of Dorito shifted 90 degrees and stabbed my in the roof of my mouth. It hurt like a bastard, and now I have a swollen mouth roof. The gash feels like it's healing okay (mouth wounds heal fast) but there's a large lump up there now.
Be careful when eating Doritos, friends.

Just finished watching the documentary A Murder in the Park. It's a reallly fucked up story. Check it out. (probably the documentary, not just a summary of the case, etc.)

I still think Get Smart was a nice movie, and it was confirmed in my head when I watched it last night.
Shun the non-believers.

Like any remake, even though this was a remake of a TV show, you need to watch it as if its a separate entity from the Don Adams version. You'll enjoy it far more if you not measuring it up to the original. That being said, UnderDogs is correct, it was a nice movie... decent one liners, good action and a few lol moments. It's not quite Airplane or Naked Gun lol funny, but it is good enough that I did purchase it on DVD. I also like Anne Hathaway too, so that helped. lol

AIRPLANE. IS. BOSS.
Nuff said.
That being said, I am watching Nightmare Detective. It's a Japanese film that's a tiny bit like The Cell, but a bit different. I like crazy, creative stuff. Gonna resume that after I post this message.

Anne Hathaway is a total babe. I would need to be 20 years older and more famous to even think about engaging contact with her, though :/

In December of 1997, I watched one of my first DVD-viewing experiences - Scream. I was 10 and a half. I had already loved the Nightmare on Elm Street series, as well as a few other films most kids don't see until they're much older (but thankfully I had older cousins), and because it lacked the paranormal killing aspect, and was straight up my first slasher flick that "theoretically" could actually happen, it legitimately scared the shit out of me in the first five minutes - and then was meh for the rest because I had immediately become desensitized.
Fast forward 18 years, and here I am, enjoying it with my wife for the first time for our first horror marathon weekend of October, and I fucking loved it. So much intentional cliché, both hate-able and enjoyable characters, and one of the few films I enjoyed Jamie Kennedy's turn. Scream 2 coming up next.

Scream was one of the very few movies ever to disturb me (the beginning scene, where she cannot scream for help when help is RIGHT THERE). But after that, I found it meh, and forgettable. Same now, and same with every subsequent sequel. Elm Street for the win.

So I'm watching this show thing I picked up, it has an R-rating sticker on it (the Canadian ones - the ones that mean it'll be a good movie). Well...yeah, I'm watching and it becomes pretty bloody apparant that this thing is not R-rated. Not even 14-A. This is pretty much a PG flick. So I deduce that the case was probably switched at some point in the past, and the replacement case was originally for an R-rated movie. Disappointed with the lack of violence, course language and nudity that typically comes with the Canadian R.

Finished the Scream trilogy, and it was still watchable and enjoyable. Each flick gave me a few laughs, and they have cringe moments, but most seem intentional, so that was a good day lol. I'll finally get a chance to see the fourth scream flick now.
