I think cm punk should be allowed to the site however before making him i suggest you allow him to fight more... lesnar lost his first fight.. so hang on and wait. You might have more of an arguement if cm punk never fights again. Or if he keeps losing while showing nothing. Patience.

Yeah, but Lesnar dominated his first fight and made a mistake.... CM Punk got like three or four hits off in full guard that looked really wimpy.... and it pains me to say that as he is one of my favorite athletes. Especially in WWE

Cm punk barely had time to breathe in that fight. Maybe if cm punk wasnt rushed he would have stood a chance. Cm punk did not fight in a way where punk could have won.

You might have more of an arguement if cm punk never fights again. Or if he keeps losing while showing nothing. Patience. Punk and Brock are 100% incomparable. Brock had martial arts training prior to getting into MMA. He was a world-class wrestler. Punk was a dude who got off the couch and decided to MMA. I'm okay with this - it makes sense. It also means it will probably be a year (so like, 2-3 ManMMA season) before we have to deal with this issue again. But realistically if he fights again, it will probably be an amateur or "little league" fight. He won't be getting better in that time, so we're still looking at a guy rated about 0-5 overall. (The average male rookie is rated about 73-76 here)

I think CM Punks mistake in the fight was rushing Mickey like he did.... he should have been more patient. In all the training videos I saw of CM Punk he was a pretty good stand up fighter.

Simply put, Phil Brooks is an amateur. Plainly clear when he fought Mickey Gall, who only has a rear naked choke and a bit of takedown game in his arsenal.
This site uses professional fighters who are believed to compete at an elite level (except Dave Bautista, which when I brought him up, was simply an experiment to see if I can make him at the very least half decent). We abolished Dos Caras because we thought he wasn't good enough, and he's got 9 professional wins under his belt. However, his only legitimate fight was against Mirko Cro Cop, and he got the shit kicked off him in 49 seconds.
Since CM Punk is nothing but an amateur with, at best, a blue-belt in Jiu-Jitsu, and with really only 18 months of training experience, I don't think he should be able to grab here until he shows legitimate improvement and he has a victory over a legitimate figher.
There's my take on it.

No he wasn't. That was the criticism from everyone going in - he looked like a noob. Pretty much everyone, from fighters to refs said after watching his training clips, they knew he needed a miracle, or he had planted some lame videos, because he looked bad. And that is no fault of his - he fought as someone making their MMA debut would. But if he fought some amateur fights, like he should have, and started in some weaker league, like he should have, he would have gained knowledge and experience at a proper pace. Putting him in with anyone in the big leagues would have been like taking a 10 year old straight out of little league and putting them in as a starting pitcher for the New York Yankees.

If it didn't happen in a real fight, it's 100% meaningless.
