Every single thing about this thread, and it's subsequent bullshit convinces me more and more that Kruze hasn't the slightest idea what he did wrong before. He believes his only mistake (for which he has apologized) was that he misunderstood which thread was which. I do not feel he has apologized for:
-calling me "an asshat",
-nor for calling me a "douche bag" and telling me I "fucked up",
-nor for calling me a "complete shithead"
-nor for claiming people have to "bend over and take it the ass from Justin"
-nor for calling me a "fucking asshole" and an "arrogant prick"
-nor for calling me a "child" and a "baby"
-nor for calling me a "piece of shit".
-nor for calling me a "piece of shit", a "a liar, a cheater, a manipulator and a waste of space on this entire fucking planet", a "pathetic little man", and a "corrupt piece of shit" (all of this was in a post that was deleted so I did not have to remove another fighter from your team, but it was recorded for reference)
Those were the
6 separate actions xx - Former Phoenix Fight Club was penalized for (as well as the last two that I let slide - as I said, one of whcih was deleted to avoid having to dish out further penalties).
I keep going back and forth on what to do here. End-goal is Kruze understands what he has done, and will not do it again. I do not feel we have achieved this whatsoever.
My thought process over the past 20 hours has gone from one thing to another:
1) First, when Brock's name was drawn from the randomizer, I planned on finding a way to keep Brock on Kruze's team. Conesequences, but not that severe. To clarify for Kruze, who has routinely misunderstood - AT NO POINT IN TIME WAS I EVER SAYING MY PLAN WAS TO RETURN BROCK TO YOU FREE OF CONSEQUENCE AS YOU KEEP SAYING. That was NEVER a plan. I just had no intentions of removing him. The plan was finding a way for you to keep him, but still be penalized, and learn from your mistakes so we never have to do this again.
2) Then, After the shitstorm that followed, I felt it reasonable to auction Brock. Especially after several days of
xx - Former Phoenix Fight Club simply trashing me publicly and privately to half the site.
3) During the suggestion thread, I was still set on Brock going to auction. During that time, Byron's suggestions stood out, seemed fair, and I decided to work again on finding a way to allow Kruze to keep Brock. We posted, and went with Byron's suggestion, giving Kruze the good faith gesture, and several options to choose from. I was fine with whatever was going to come of that and no longer had a plan for Brock.
4) After this suggestion was posted, and Kruze yelled at my privately, and to a lesser extent publicly, and said he would only do 2 points per team, or he would quit. At this time, I publicly clarified his options (they had not changed), gave him a timeline to decide, and assumed he would choose something the next day when he sobered up. At this time, my intention was to go with whatever option he selected, as long as it did not have additional "Kruze-clauses" (i.e. I will do 2 points instead of 4") type crap. At this point, I was fine with him keeping Brock, and carrying out options 2, 3, or 4.
5) After waking up and seeing the giant diatribe of example after example after example of how Kruze had absolutely no understanding of what he had done wrong, and STILL felt he was being bullied into losing his fighter, I had resigned myself to the fact he had learned nothing, had no understanding or remourse for any of his actions, etc. Here, I had decided, once and for all, that Brock would be going to auction.
6) After making this decision, and beginning to prepare a write-up that included all the examples of WHY I was confident Kruze did not understand the reasons he was being penalized, I voiced with
The Rocketmen. Prior to this call,
I was 100% certain Brock was going to free agency, and was about to prepare both the auction, and the reasoning once I got off the call.
7) Despite all the shit
xx - Former Phoenix Fight Club said about Mike, and how he routinely trashes, well, everyone, Mike walked me through some alternative scenarios and ultimately convinced me to
give Kruze another chance with Brock. At the previously-mentioned 4 points per team (Mike tried to convince me of lower or free, but I refused to budge on 4 points per team for all of the reasons above).
(TL;DR - Brock went from staying on his team at a cost, to being auctioned, to given a chance to return to his team, to being removed from his team for 100% sure, to The Rocketmen saving the day and letting PHX keep Brock)
So here we are at this post, and here is what is happening.- Kruze can keep Brock at a cost of 44 points. That is 4 points going to each team on the site, as a penalty for this entire clusterfuck. It has slowed down on-site work, behind-the-scenes work, and sims. The initial actions for which Kruze hs already admitted full responsibility, was a giant blow to all members' fun and excitement for the entire auction process, even bleeding into the draft.
- A detailed penalization policy is coming soon, that will outline the non-negotiable consequences for anyone carrying on way Kruze did in the future. There will be no excuses accepted, and no extenuating circumstances offered. We have done this enough over the past 6 years, and we should be past it.
- I want a reply from Kruze (I would encourage a more detailed apology) showing he understands that his mistake was not assuming he was calling me names for one reason but it turned out ot be another, but because he continued to call me a huge list of names, ruining the entire auction experience for many excited participants.
- If there is any "fuck you mode" reply to this message from Kruze, Brock will be auctioned off immediately. Period.
- If there is ANY finger-pointing, attempted blame-sharing, excuse-making, or complaining of any kind to this incredibly special, generous offer from Kruze, Brock will be auctioned off immediately. Period.
I am leaving this post up, and expect a full and civil reply from Kruze showing he understands what is said here. Once that happens, we will move forward with the "Brock for 4 points per team" option, and officially move on with our lives.
